The Consolidated Waterworks/Sewerage District No.1 is proud to announce that the Louisiana Department of Health has awarded high marks to the four water systems managed by the Jury for their excellent water quality.
For 2024, the water systems received impressive grades: three "A's" and one "B". The Consolidated Waterworks/Sewerage District No.1, West Central Bossier Water System, and Dogwood South Water System all earned an "A" grade, while the Village Water System received a "B" grade.
Each water system was evaluated on several factors, including state and federal water quality standards, operations, and maintenance. The systems received minimal deductions during the State's testing assessment, showcasing their commitment to excellence.
By law, the Louisiana Department of Health conducts rigorous tests on water systems to ensure safety for parish residents. This year's results highlight the dedication of the Consolidated Waterworks/Sewerage District No.1 in providing high-quality water services, contributing to the well-being and health of the community.
