The board meets the third Thursday of each month at 11:30 a.m. for approximately 1 to 1 ½ hours, with the possibility of additional meetings being called during the year depending on the committee to which the board member is assigned.

Contractors are making progress on the North Bossier shared-use trail, running along Wimple Rd. from near The Colony to Lakewood subdivision. The approximately 1.5 miles of trail was one of several projects bid by the state Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD). Cost of the trail is roughly $700,000.
