Boil Advisory Lifted for West Central Bossier Water System

The precautionary boil advisory for West Central Bossier Water System customers has been lifted effective immediately.

State-required testing shows the water is safe to use. Customers may return to normal water use, including drinking, cooking, and brushing teeth. Boiling water is no longer needed.

The advisory was issued after a storm caused a power failure at the system’s main plant, which led to a temporary loss of water pressure.

The advisory was put in place as a safety measure while water quality testing was completed.

No further action is required.
