South Bossier Park Reopens Following Ice Storm Repairs

The Bossier Parish Parks and Recreation Department announces that South Bossier Park is now officially open following its temporary closure due to damage sustained during the recent ice storm.

Maintenance teams have completed all necessary repairs, and all restrooms, facilities, and park amenities are fully operational and ready for public use.

“We appreciate the community’s patience as our crews worked safely and efficiently to restore the park,” said officials with Bossier Parish Parks and Recreation. “We’re excited to welcome families back to enjoy the outdoor spaces, trails, and recreational areas.”

Residents are encouraged to follow any posted safety notices and to contact the Parks and Recreation Department with questions regarding the park services or upcoming activities.
