REVISED RELEASE! Interruption of Water Service Planned for Country Subdivision

We would like to inform the residents of Country Place Subdivision that the previous boil advisory issued has been downgraded to a partial advisory in the neighborhood. The affected area includes homes from 117 Chimney Lane to the intersection of Oakridge and Chimney Lanes. Officials say the advisory will be in effect until water samples clear testing by the Louisiana Department of Health Lab in Shreveport.

Officials with the Consolidated Water Sewer District #1 are notifying customers in the Country Place Subdivision about a scheduled water service interruption lasting approximately one and a half hours tonight.

Country Place residents are advised that their water service will be unavailable from 10:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. while work crews replace a fire hydrant and install a water sample station on the line. Officials expect the service to be restored by 11:30 p.m. tonight.

The service interruption will also require a mandatory boil advisory for customers after the service has been restored. Officials say the advisory will be in effect until water samples clear testing by the Louisiana Department of Health Lab in Shreveport.
