Another Boil Advisory Lifted

Officials Bossier Parish Consolidated Waterworks/Sewerage District No.1 (CWSD #1) have lifted the boil advisory for customers on the Village Water System off HWY 614 and Stewart Road in Haughton.

Officials say a water main in the system broke on January 11 resulting in a temporary loss of water. The line was repaired, and water samples were collected for testing. In response, officials issued a customer safety boil advisory regarding the system.

The water samples from the line were tested at the LA Department of Health Lab and returned negative results.  No further action will be taken with this advisory.
