Butch Ford, Parish Administrator, spoke to the students of the Bossier Youth Leadership Program during their courthouse visit on Tuesday morning.
Mr. Ford told the students about the intricate role the Bossier Parish Police Jury plays in the parish. “We are instrumental in building roads, maintaining the existing roads, providing clean water, and permitting some of the truck traffic you may see throughout the parish,” Ford said.
Organizers say the visit was an excellent way for the students to experience how the government works for them on the parish level.
