A day of fun and recreation Monday at Tall Timbers Park helped put a finishing touch to the summer reading program at Bossier Parish Library's East 80 Branch with the added attraction of hamburgers and firetrucks.
Hamburgers and trappings were prepared by the Bossier Parish Police Jury's department of parks and recreation while firetrucks from Bossier Parish Fire Dist. 1 added some cooling entertainment for patrons attending the event.
