A contingent of Bossier Parish Police Jury members were part of the large group of delegates attending the National Association of Counties (NACo) conference and exhibition in Cade County, Colorado last week.
NACo's annual conference is the largest meeting to county elected and appointed officials from across the country and includes participants from counties of all sizes who come together to shape NACO's federal policy agenda, share proven practices and strengthen knowledge networks.
Featured speakers included John Hickenlooper, U.S. Sen. Colorado; Dr. Rahul Gupta, Director of the White House Office of Drug Control Policy; Heather McHee, author, speaker; and advocate and Mick Ebeling, founder and CEO, Not Impossible Labs.
