Bodcau Dam Road Closure Scheduled for Culvert Replacement

The Bossier Parish Highway Department will temporarily close Bodcau Dam Road beginning Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 7:00 a.m. to begin culvert replacement work. The closure is expected to remain in effect through Friday, September 12, 2025, weather permitting.

The work zone is located approximately 1.7 miles north of LA Hwy 157 from the Bellevue end and 5.5 miles south of LA Hwy 157 from the northern end of Bodcau Dam Road.

During the closure:

• Addresses 100 – 950 Bodcau Dam Road will be accessible from LA Hwy 157 at Bellevue.
• Addresses 951 – 3000 Bodcau Dam Road will be accessible from LA Hwy 157 at the northern end.

Drivers are advised to plan alternate routes and exercise caution in the area. The Highway Department appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as crews work to improve infrastructure and ensure roadway safety.
