Cold Weather Preparation Tips

As below-freezing temperatures are expected in our area beginning on Sunday night, you must take action to ensure the well-being of your pets, pipes, and plants! Don’t overlook these essential preparations!
PIPES: Cover and wrap outdoor faucets and spigots. Ensure pipes are insulated and winterize and shut off sprinkler systems. Drip indoor faucets to prevent freezing.
PLANTS: Move your plants to warmer locations away from direct cold drafts.
PETS: Ensure that you provide warm bedding and fresh water, making certain that the water is not frozen.
