Veterans Parkway Set to Open

The Bossier Parish Police Jury will cut the ribbon for the grand opening of the Veterans Parkway on Wednesday, December 4, at 9 a.m. at the intersection of Swan Lake Road and Veterans Parkway.
Work on the parkway is complete and Swan Lake Road has been reconfigured and tied into the new parkway. The nearly 4-mile stretch of roadway will connect I-220 at Swan Lake Road to LA Hwy 162 via Crouch Rd. The parkway cost taxpayers more than $40 million to build and more than two years to complete.
