Contractors for the Bossier Parish Police Jury continue to make progress on reconstruction of Poole Rd. in the southern part of the parish. Poole Rd. is one of more than 30 parish asphalt roads that were damaged during floods of 2015 and 2016.
Money for repair of the flood-damaged asphalt roads comes from nearly $32 million awarded to Bossier Parish after a successful appeal of previous denials of claims by the Federal Emergency Management Agency. A federal panel in Washington, D.C. ruled in favor of the parish.
