Work by the Bossier Parish Police Jury’s highway department to replace the bridge on Fire Tower Rd. has been completed and the road is now open to traffic.
Beginning Tuesday, March 8, highway department crews will be moving to Oglee Rd. to begin work on another bridge. This bridge is located 1.5 miles west off LA Hwy. 157, and the project is scheduled to be completed in seven days, weather permitting.
For emergency services and school board information, addresses in the 100-439 range of Oglee Rd. will be accessible from LA Hwy. 157. Addresses from 440 and above will be accessible off Shiloh Rd.
