Police Jury highway department workers are currently making repairs to the Smith Rd. bridge crossing Red Chute Bayou in southern Bossier Parish.
While work is in progress, Smith Rd., which runs between U.S. Hwy. 71 and LA Hwy. 527 (at Willis Rd.) is closed to through traffic. The bridge is located approximately two miles east of Hwy. 71.
