Boil Water Advisory Lifted for Part of Haughton Along Hwy 164

The Bossier Parish Consolidated Waterworks/Sewerage District No. 1 has lifted the recently issued boil-water advisory for the Village Water System in Haughton that affected homes off Hwy 164.

The advisory was originally issued after a break in the water main earlier today. Crews shut off water in the area while they worked to isolate the break and make repairs.

Those repairs have now been finalized, and water samples tested by the Louisiana Department of Health have confirmed the system meets all safety standards.

Residents may resume normal use of their water for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, and food preparation.
