Temporary Water Service Interruption and Boil Advisory for Country Place Subdivision
Posted: Mar 6, 2026, 7:46 AM
The Bossier Parish Consolidated Waterworks/Sewerage District No. 1 (CWSD #1) is notifying residents of the Country Place Subdivision of a scheduled water service interruption beginning tonight at 10:00 p.m. as crews perform essential system work.
A contractor working on behalf of CWSD #1 will repair a water line that connects to the line serving the Country Place Subdivision. To safely complete this repair, water service to the subdivision will be temporarily shut down and will be restored immediately upon completion of the work.
Because the water pressure will drop below safe operating levels during this operation, a mandatory boil advisory will be issued for all affected customers once service is restored. This advisory applies only to residents within the Country Place Subdivision.
Boil Advisory Instructions
During the advisory, residents should:
- Bring tap water to a full rolling boil for at least one minute before use.
- Boil water even if it has been filtered.
- Use boiled or bottled water for:
- Drinking
- Cooking
- Brushing teeth
- Food preparation
Water samples will be collected following the repair and submitted to the Louisiana Department of Health’s Office of Public Health in Shreveport for analysis. The boil advisory will remain in effect until laboratory testing confirms the water is safe for consumption. A follow-up notice will be issued when the advisory is lifted.
CWSD #1 appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation as crews complete this essential maintenance.
Updates will be provided as they become available.
