Bossier Parish Parks and Recreation Announces Temporary Closure of All Parish Parks Due to Severe Weather

The Bossier Parish Parks and Recreation Department is temporarily closing all Bossier Parish parks in response to the severe weather warning currently in effect for the parish.

Effective immediately, all park facilities will be secured, including:

• Locking all park restrooms
• Shutting off water service in all park facilities
• Closure of park grounds to public access

These measures are necessary to safeguard the infrastructure of the parks and maintain public safety as hazardous temperatures and weather conditions persist.

The parks will remain closed until temperatures and conditions improve enough to allow for safe reopening. Officials with the Parish will continue to monitor weather developments and will announce reopening updates through official communication channels.
