Planned Water Service Interruption in Haughton

The Consolidated Water/Sewerage District #1 announces a planned water service interruption tonight along Highway 80 in Haughton.

Beginning at 10:00 p.m., work crews will install two fire hydrants on the south side of Highway 80, between Eastwood Baptist Church and H Latin Restaurant.

Before the installation, water service to nearby businesses will be temporarily shut off. Once service is restored, a boil advisory will be in effect for the affected area.

Boil Advisory Instructions:
All customers in the impacted area should boil water for at least one full minute before using it for drinking, cooking, or brushing teeth. This advisory will remain in effect until further notice.
