Benton Library Hosts Annual 9/11 First Responders Luncheon

The staff of the Bossier Parish Library Benton Branch hosted its annual 9/11 First Responders Luncheon today, in remembrance and tribute to the men and women who lost their lives in the 9/11 terrorist attacks that shook the nation.
Among those in attendance were Bossier Parish Sheriff Julian Whittington, Parish Secretary Megan Ramos, Assistant Secretary Aleigha McWilliams, and Human Resources Director Lisa Wilson. They were joined by several deputies from the Bossier Sheriff’s Office, as well as firefighters from the Benton Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services personnel.
The event concluded with Sheriff Whittington expressing his gratitude to the library staff for their continued support of the men and women who serve and protect Bossier Parish.
