Boil Advisory Lifted for Jester and Mayfield Streets in Princeton

The Louisiana Department of Health Lab in Shreveport has lifted the boil advisory for residents on Jester and Mayfield Streets in Princeton.

On Tuesday, water services were temporarily shut off to these homes to repair a leaking valve on the water line. As a precaution, the Consolidated Water/Sewerage District #1 issued a boil advisory due to the drop in water pressure below safety limits.

Water samples tested by the Louisiana Department of Health Lab in Shreveport have returned negative results. No further action is required regarding this advisory.
