Boil Advisory Lifted for Village Water System 8500 block of HWY 80 to Eddies Gas Station

Officials Bossier Parish Consolidated Waterworks/Sewerage District No.1 (CWSD #1) have lifted the boil advisory for customers on the Village Water System in the 8500 block of HWY 80 to Eddies Gas Station on Goodwill Road.

Officials say there was a significant break in a 4-inch water line that occurred after a work crew repaired two smaller leaks in the same line.

Collected water samples from the line were tested at the LA Department of Health Lab and returned negative results.  No further action will be taken with this advisory.
