Prepping for Winter Weather

Work crews with the Highway Department have prepared vehicles and equipment to ensure they are ready for any potential adverse weather forecast for the area.

Crews were busy testing and loading the Salt Dogg sand-spreading apparatuses onto work trucks. Another truck was outfitted with a tank and filled with brine ready to de-ice roads in the parish when needed.
