West Central Bossier Water System Boil Advisory Rescinded

Officials with the Consolidated Water Sewer District #1 have lifted the boil advisory issued yesterday for customers on the West Central Bossier Water System. 

Officials say water samples from the storage tank cleared testing conducted by the Louisiana Department of Health Lab in Shreveport. 

Officials issued a boil advisory after a contractor working on the groundwater storage tank accidentally cut the electrical line connected to the water level detection system.

Officials say customers can resume normal use of water at this time. No further action needs to be taken regarding this advisory.
