2025-2026 Economic Outlook Conference

Bossier Parish Police Jury employees Ken Ward, Assistant Parish Administrator; Stacie Fernandez, Parish Treasurer; Jennifer Rose, Staff Accountant; and Ian Snellgrove, Director of BOHSEP, attended the 2025-2026 Economic Outlook Conference at Port of Caddo-Bossier Regional Commerce Center. Dr. Loren Scott, a noted economist who reported on the economic forecast for northwest Louisiana, was the keynote speaker.
Dr. Scott reported on some of the significant factors contributing to the economy in North Louisiana, like the Haynesville Shale, the Amazon Plant, a new plant being built at the Port of Caddo-Bossier called Heirloom, and much more.
