Officials with the Consolidated Water Sewer District #1 are informing customers living on HWY 80, near the Webster Parish line, of a scheduled temporary interruption of water service beginning tonight, September 30, at 9:00 p.m.
Customers living in homes from Boomers Lounge, 7521 HWY 80, heading east to Goodwill Road, are advised that their water service will be unavailable while work crews repair a 4-inch service line. Officials expect service to be restored by 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 1, at 6 a.m.
The service interruption will also require a mandatory boil advisory for customers after the service is restored. Officials say the advisory will be in effect until water samples clear testing by the Louisiana Department of Health Lab in Shreveport.
