The Bossier Parish Police Jury has authorized the Highway Department to begin collecting storm debris left by Tropical Storm Beryl.
Crews will collect debris from fallen trees placed onto the right of way on parish-maintained roads. Work crews will not collect debris on private property. Any debris not placed on the side of the road will not be collected.
The clean-up will continue for 30 days and is only limited to residents living in the parish and on parish-maintained roads. Debris left on state or municipal roadways will not be collected. Crews will be collecting on Saturdays.
To schedule a pickup, please get in touch with the Bossier Highway Department at (318) 965-3752.
Officials want to emphasize the importance of residents visiting Damage.LA.gov to begin reporting storm damage to their homes.
