Bob Brotherton, District 1 representative, said this tournament is a win-win for Northwest Louisiana. Brotherton said, "We signed a 10-year agreement with ASA to host the tournament here, and everything is going well so far. It is estimated that the tournament will attract over 1,650 shooters, their families, and vendors, who will stay in our hotels, dine in our restaurants, and shop in our stores." The local economy could receive a boost of up to $25 million over the 10-year ASA contract period.
The jury members approved the payment of all the accounts payable invoices and budget to the monthly comparison for January 2024.
