Love the Boot Week

In celebration of Love the Boot Week, a statewide effort to clean up and beautify Louisiana, Keep Bossier Beautiful volunteers and partners will be hard at work with the below listed projects, according to KBB Executive Director Lynn Bryan.
Landscaping and tree planting, Tuesday, April 18 3:30 p.m.-5:30:
- 26 JROTC Haughton High School students will help complete a landscaping project in partnership with the NWLA Master Gardeners, City of Bossier City and Keep Bossier Beautiful at the Bossier City Animal Control Center located at 3217 Old Shed Road.
Beautification and educational projects in local schools on
Monday, April 17:
- Plantation Park Elementary School 9:30 a.m.-10:30 ;
- Bossier Elementary School 1:20 p.m.-2:20
Tuesday, April 18;
- Sun City Elementary School 9 a.m.-10:00
Thursday, April 20;
- Central Park Elementary School 10:30 a.m.-11:15;
- R.V. Kerr Elementary School 1 p.m.-1:45.
Louisiana Downs Spring Green Recycling Event Friday, April 21 noon – 4 p.m. at Louisiana Downs Racetrack & Casino.
Tree Planting - Saturday, April 22 at 9:30 a.m.:
- Tree Planting on Arthur Ray Teague - 12, 20-gallon trees will be planted at the sound barrier near The Preserve neighborhood in partnership with the Bossier Parish Police Jury.
