Free Forestry Wildlife Field Day Held Friday

A free Forestry Wildlife Field Day Friday at Red Oak Lake near Haughton gave forest landowners an opportunity to learn about forest health, managing forestland for wildlife, harvesting, and more.

In addition to learning techniques and receiving information, attending foresters and landowners were treated to a BBQ lunch. Sponsors for the free field day were the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and Trailblazer RC&D.
