Parish-wide observance of the National Night Out Against Crime last week put one Bossier Parish Police Jury member behind a fryer, providing a night-out cookout for a group of Rosedale subdivision residents.
“I left the hayfield and went straight to the Night Out celebration to do a little cooking,” said Chris Marsiglia, who represents District 6 on the police jury. “We had a couple of hundred people come to the neighborhood celebration.”
National Night Out is held annually to promote police-community partnership and to bring neighbors together in a show of unity against criminal activity.
