Early voting scheduled for Nov. 6 election


Early voting for the November 6 primary/congressional election will begin Tuesday, Oct. 23 and continue through Tuesday, Oct. 30, according to Bossier Parish Registrar of Voters Stephanie Agee.

Ballots may be cast from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. on those days.

Parish voters will be able to take advantage of two early voting sites: the Registrar of Voters’ office on the second floor of the parish courthouse in Benton and at the Bossier Parish Library History Center, 2206 Beckett St. in Bossier City.

Offices of the registrar will be closed on Sunday, Oct. 28.

In order to vote, individuals should bring a Louisiana driver’s license, a Louisiana Special ID card or other generally recognized photo identification that contains the name and signature of the voter.
