Restore Louisiana coming to Shreveport

Residents impacted by the 2016 floods can receive assistance completing their Restore Louisiana surveys when the Restore Louisiana Homeowner Assistance Program visits Shreveport.

Program representatives will be on hand from 1 until 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 20 at the Shreve Memorial Library-Hollywood/Union Avenue Branch, located at 2105 Hollywood Avenue.

Wednesday’s Shreveport visit is part of a series of outreach events being held across the state to offer in person, one-on-one assistance to floodaffected homeowners who need help completing the initial survey. Surveys must be completed by the deadline of July 20.

Purpose of the Restore Louisiana Homeowner Assistance Program is to help homeowners affected by the March and August 2016 floods repair and restore their damaged homes. Entering the program consists of two steps: an initial survey and an application.

The survey is available and may be completed online at or by calling (866) 7352001 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. All floodimpacted homeowners are strongly encouraged to complete the survey.
