Surface Water Use Cooperative Endeavor Agreement

Act 955 of the 2010 Regular Session of the Legislature directs that the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) provide in the management, preservation, conservation, and protection of the state’s water resources. This legislation also provides for DNR to enter into cooperative agreements with water users for withdrawal of running surface water from state-owned lands.
