State offering pesticide training class for Bistineau landowners (02/02/2012)
People who own property along the banks of Lake Bistineau can attend a pesticide training session from 8 a.m. – noon on February 18 at the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry Department’s Office at 9961 Hwy. 80 in Minden.
LA 157 Bridge Closure (Bodcau Bayou Relief) (01/27/2012)
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has advised that the LA 157 bridge over Bodcau Bayou Relief in Bossier Parish, located two miles north of the town of Bellevue, will be closed for approximately five days for piling repairs, beginning at 8:30 a.m., Monday, January 30, 2012.
All vehicles must detour using LA 528, US 371, LA 160, and LA 157.

Bossier Parish's Consolidated Waterworks/Sewerage District No. 1, finalized its purchase of Red Chute Utilities on Wednesday, December 21, 2011. Red Chute Utilities provides water and sewer service to the citizens of Dogwood Subdivision. This is a tremendous step and is vital to the continued growth and development of Bossier Parish.
