Dogwood Trail Bridge Closure (05/10/2013)
Beginning Wednesday, May 15, 2013, the Dogwood Trail Bridge over Red Chute Bayou at the entrance of Dogwood Subdivision will be closed. The existing bridge will be removed and a new bridge constructed during the closure.
The approximate date of completion will be August, 15, 2013.
Traffic will be detoured to Bellevue Road during the closure.
Sligo Road bridge over Fox Skin Bayou now open (04/16/2013)
The Sligo Road bridge over Fox Skin Bayou is now open effective at 3:30 p.m. today, April 16, 2013.
MEETING DATE CHANGE (04/15/2013)
The regular meeting of the Bossier Parish Police Jury scheduled for May 1, 2013, has been changed, and will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2013, in the Police Jury Meeting Room.
Wafer Road Closure (04/12/2013)
Beginning Monday, April 15, 2013, Wafer Road between Cindy Lane and Randy Lane will be closed for drainage work for the Tall Timbers Lateral project.
Traffic will be detoured through Cindy Lane and Randy Lane.
It is anticipated that the road closure will be from April 15, 2013, to April 21, 2013.
Swan Lake Road South bridge over Flat River now open (04/12/2013)
The Swan Lake Road South bridge over Flat River located off Poole Road is now open effective at 1:45 p.m. today, April 12, 2013.
CAPLIS SLIGO ROAD BRIDGE OVER FLAT RIVER CLOSURE (04/09/2013)
The Caplis Sligo Road bridge over Flat River will be closed effective April 10, 2013, for replacement of the bridge. It is anticipated that the bridge will be closed for approximately six months.
EMERGENCY BRIDGE CLOSURE (04/09/2013)
The Sligo Road bridge over Fox Skin Bayou will be closed effective today, April 9, 2013, for emergency repairs.
Traffic will need to detour from Sligo Road to Arkla Plant Road to Davis Road to Highway 157.
It is anticipated that the bridge will be closed for approximately 10 days.
EMERGENCY BRIDGE CLOSURE (04/05/2013)
The Swan Lake Road South bridge over Flat River located off Poole Road will be closed for seven to ten days for emergency repairs beginning today, April 5, 2013.

The Caplis-Sligo Bridge over Flat River in Bossier Parish is being closed immediately for emergency repairs. The bridge is expected to be closed for at least one week.
