BOSSIER PARISH RECEIVES $17,750,000 FOR SEWER DISTRICT (03/30/2012)
The Parish of Bossier recently closed on a loan through the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality to continue the establisment and creation of the Consolidated Waterworks/Sewerage District No. 1 of the Parish of Bossier. Officials with LDEQ, including Secretary Peggy Hatch, Deputy Secretary Dr. Alex Appeaning and Mr. Bijan Sharafkani, LDEQ Administrator, were in Bossier Parish on March 30, 2012, for presentation of a ceremonial check to the Bossier Parish Police Jury representing these funds. Bossier Parish Purchases Red Chute Utilities (12/22/2011)
Bossier Parish's Consolidated Waterworks/Sewerage District No. 1, finalized its purchase of Red Chute Utilities on Wednesday, December 21, 2011. Red Chute Utilities provides water and sewer service to the citizens of Dogwood Subdivision. This is a tremendous step and is vital to the continued growth and development of Bossier Parish.
