**Property Standards/Noise Control Officer**
Investigates property standards complaints and possible violations of noise control ordinances, then reports findings to the Bossier Parish Police Jury.
High school diploma and at least one (1) year experience in environmental noise control and property standards ordinance regulations. Must have completed Noise and Ordinance Control Training or be willing to complete within designated timeframe.
Additional duties to include: Locating land owners, serving notice of requirements needed to comply with ordinances, maintaining detailed records of inspections, violations, and reports. Follow-up reports to officials. Scheduling maintenance crews to mow and/or clean properties as needed. Applying ordinance regulations appropriately to sounds originating from or within property.
